About

Chris is an artist, specializing in sculpture. He taught drawing, glass blowing and sculpture early in his career to support his pursuits in art. He attended the Cooper Union School in New York and then earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts, with dual studio concentrations in sculpture and painting at Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. He then completed his Masters of Fine Art, with a concentration in sculpture, at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. Based in Chicago for too many years Chris exhibited his sculpture throughout the country. He finally moved back to Massachusetts in 2003 and resides in Marshfield with his wife Kate, son Robert, and dog Bella. Chris currently supports himself with carpentry and as a general contractor, although his passion is for art.

Chris is a longstanding member of a Plymouth Business and Networking organization and at 63 years old continues to play hockey. He has a diverse background of interests and perspectives, including focus community volunteerism.

Currently his most recent ShingleArt can be seen at the newly constructed bath houses and life guard station at Nauset Light Beach in Eastham.
